Several of our workshops require that you bring a laptop. For those of you unable to bring a laptop, the library offers laptops for borrowing. The lending period of the laptop varies between branches, so please confirm at time of checkout. See which laptops are currently available by visiting this dynamically updated page.
- Borrow the laptop as far in advance as possible (in accordance with the lending period) to install the required software before your workshop begins. Visit the workshops page that corresponds to the workshop you are attending to get the installation instructions for the workshop.
Note that Microsoft Word is already installed on all laptops so no pre-installation is required for our Thesis Formatting Workshop. - All information, including programs you installed is wiped off the machine when you return it. Before returning the laptop, be sure to save any work you want to keep onto your own flash drive.
