Eugene Barsky, Head of the UBC Library Research Commons, has introduced a way to make Canadian open research datasets, indexed by the Federated Research Data Repository (FRDR), findable in ProQuest’s Central Discovery Index (CDI). All academic libraries using Summon, Primo, or Alma systems can now easily include records from FRDR in their discovery service using ProQuest CDI. Detailed instructions are available on FRDR site. More than 120,000 datasets are now discoverable and this corpus of data is growing daily.
